A sistahood that’s committed to excellence AND our Jeep
WELCOME to S.W.J. Club an elite JEEP club that's committed to service and sistahood.
BACKGROUND
Welcome to S.W.J. Club - Sistas With Jeeps. We are an elite group of JeepHers of color currently located throughout the United States. Houston was our founding chapter established on June 4, 2020. SWJ Club was created due to the lack of diversity and inclusion in other Jeep clubs and the lack of purpose. Our mission is to erase state lines and build international bridges by connecting women around the world who share a love and passion for their Jeep, as well as a desire to enhance their communities. We bring about awareness regarding issues affecting our communities through Jeep ride outs and fundraisers. While some people rally to bring attention to a cause...others might march...we use our Jeep. We collaborated with Houston's Mayor Sylvester Turner in 2020 for the Census Caravan around Houston, as well as The American Cancer Society, in Atlanta, GA. We distributed over 400 pairs of gently worn shoes to the homeless population in Downtown Los Angeles. We raised over $4,000 to sponsor two young expecting mothers baby shower. And we donated over 800 backpacks tor Back to School. All of the before mentioned are only a tip of the ice berg of things we've done in our short time of existence.
